Founders Producer DJ Andrew Morphous & MC Instrumentalist ShiZaru.zoe began laying the foundation for the Tsunami Bass Experience in 2009, starting with a shared passion for electronic Bass Culture music, specifically DubStep and a vision of how it should be truly experienced in a multi-sensory manner for maximum enjoyment and true understanding. Enchanted by the core tenets of quantum wave theory and how it manifests musically, they began to consider the kinestitic in addition to the usual audio and visual components, and then began to experiment with combining all 3 learning/thinking modalties so that when experienced with the specifically programmed music, had the potential for a true Tsunami like experience optimal for true Bass Culture appreciation. Being pounded and submerged by the myrid multi-sensory waves and have this feeling be compounded and expontentially amplified by massive auditory visual and kinestetic enhancement.
TBE began actively teaming up fellow bass culture music enthusists and event support specialists to enable the DECADE of the TSUNAMI (津波万歳〜！), which offically launched Jan. 1st, 2011 at our first official fundraiser for the ~WaVe~ installation. After working for years, perfoming, producing and providing event enhancement in the NYC underground bass culture scene as well as various legal venue, Tsunami Bass Experience founders Morphous & ShiZaru established MorphSaru Productions to further explore practical applications of kinestetic and visual components in addition to producing and programming music for entertaining live performance.
Projects underway include ~The Wave~ which represents the kinestetic element of the Tsunami Bass Experience. A unique and interactive stage/dance floor platform is designed to provide kinesthetic enhancement by enabling users to feel the musical frequencies programed into the music converted into tangible waves to further enhance the auditory experience. Visual ehnacements including lights, effects, laser and video are underway that will add this crucial component to the overall entertainment experience The Tsunami Bass Experience represents.
